Philanthropy is the future of marketing

Two years ago at the small-business conference, Sage Summit in Las Vegas, Twitter co-founder Biz Stone gave a keynote presentation. (Because of his success, when Biz talks, small-business owners listen.) He discussed how the future of marketing is philanthropy, and that people are attracted to meaning these days.

Doctors have been doing pro-bono work for years – and in many cases when Insurance denies coverage, they do it pro-bono once or twice a day. But recently we’ve seen a trend in Doctors utilizing charitable donations or “free care” as a marketing tactic.

Nothing wrong with that says Twitter CoFounder Biz Stone.

Stone suggests that when customers have a choice, they will more likely buy from companies that are philanthropic; and that successful companies are giving money to charitable organizations and then using their marketing funds to tell customers about their association with that cause. Companies find that their giving can go a long way by attracting free mentions on blogs and social media posts.

From Dr. Aaron Lewis another ChiroSushi Team Leader

Dreamlike is the word that comes to mind when I think about helping people to help themselves. And missions is the word that comes to mind when I think of the mechanism used to do that. On Family Church’s last mission to Dominican Republic there were hundreds of lives changed. But more than the lives of the precious Dominican people, those of us that traveled from the United States to brings our gifts, our love, and service were blessed beyond measure. I remember how fascinated the people of Higuey were when, for the first time they experienced the Miracle of Chiropractic.

Dr. Tim Schaub adjusted more than 100 people in one day and there was far more waiting to be adjusted. Some of the people confessed that their pain instantly disappeared. Dr. Schaub adjusted those from birth to 80 plus years old, most of whom never had an adjustment in their entire life. Dr. Dawn Stranges put the icing on the cake, with her specialized healing techniques that went beyond the physical realm and delved into emotional and spiritual realms. There were people who were healed from emotional and mental wounds from years before. It was a spectacular display of Love and Service.

The good news is that we’re going again and we’re looking for chiropractors and servant leaders with a heart to give back. On January 25th through the 30th, 2017 we will be in Dominican Republic for a second dose of goodness and mercy. If you feel compelled to give back, we’d love you to join us for the ultimate expression of Love. You can contact: JoAnna Laiscell at (860) 869-5667. We need You, Dominican Republic needs You, God needs You! Call today to inquire about the details. You’re making a difference, now make an even greater difference!
