7 Ways A Chiropractor Can Adjust Their Search Rankings

By chirosushi In Chiropractic Success, SEO, Social Media Marketing

With so much attention on Social today Search has taken a back-seat.

But it really shouldn’t.

Search is still the most effective and prequalified way to convert a practice member.

Here are some easy ways to help your search rankings!

1.Go Old School – Build Up Your Links

Link building might sound 1990’s or like going back to an ex but it’s still one of the foundational pieces to #BadassSEO.

And we all know going back to an ex can be a guarantee – just make sure you get in and get out right?

In SEO, sometimes we fall in the traps of making sure our sites are linked on the “old boys club” like Google, Facebook, Yahoo and Yelp

But what about your Foursquare, CitySearch, Kudzu and eLocal?

Here is a link to the top 100 sites to build link credibility

2.Clean Up Your Pictures

  1. You now have two pictures of me in your computer – you’re welcome
  2. That first pic is of our Brian Tracy Luncheon for LifeWest and Sherman College – amazing  afternoon- I think we raised over $30k for Life West and Sherman College over the ChiroSushi Summit and Dr. Edwin Cordero’s face literally says “THIS is the Future of TIC???” – I kid Eddy … I kid.
  3. Do you notice anything different about the pics saved?

The first picture has the file reading as: 36035063_10213177770931766_1951607515527512064_n-1

Which do you think has more SEO juice?

Make sure your images are optimized, tagged and when wise captioned for better performance.

Now that’s better…Right Click and Save

3.Use Facebook Ads to G.A.M.E. Google

Gain.

Awesome.

Massive.

Eyeballs.

One of Google factors in relevancy rankings is “Unique Visitors”

One of the easiest ways to game this is by using the advertising platforms of social sites like LinkedIn and Facebook.

But…

Be careful of going the opposite direction with dinging higher bounce rates.

4.Fix Your Bounce Rate Problem

Your website’s bounce rate is the percentage of people who land on a page on your website, then leave. They don’t click on anything else. They just get to one of your pages, hang out for a bit, then leave.

Here are some things you can do to help your bounce rate.

  1. Get rid of your cookie-cutter website – most cookie cutter websites average a high 60% to 80% bounce rate. Why? Low load times, shitty stock photos, autoplay videos/music and just basic poor user experience like not being ready for mobile.
  2. Keep regular fresh content….

5.Use ChiroSushi’s Circle of Life

You’ve probably heard of our Circle of Life strategy.

Tucker Max called it brilliant but mocked us because Disney should probably sue us for the name.

But the Circle of Life strategy is an amazingly efficient and effective way to to do content right and create content that inspires viral sharing and natural linking

In the SEO world, we often call this “linkbait.”

6.Be newsworthy

Earning the attention of the press, bloggers and news media is an effective, time-honored way to earn links.

7.Put a Band-Aid On It With Google Adwords

There is no proof to the rumors that Google Rewards ad-words users with higher rankings but it might seem that way.

But very simply what is happening is similar to G.A.M.E. of Facebook – where you are getting unique user clicks.

But this is just icing on the cake with ad-words.

Despite SEO you should have a very strong “drippage” of Adwords.

70% of the time it is still one of the most dollar per dollar easy money on the table.
