Horses can require chiropractic adjustments in much the same way that people sometimes do, and 2016 Horse of the Year California Chrome is no different. According to ocregister.com, Don Moore has been a part of the horse’s championship team for the last 18 months. Working in concert with trainer Art Sherman and his veterinarians, Moore has been an integral part of keeping California Chrome healthy throughout his record-setting season.
Moore, of San Clemente, travels throughout Southern California, seeing about 75 horses a week, everything from top athletes to people’s pets. He also works with the animals affiliated with Disneyland and the U.S. Olympic equestrian team.
None of them, however, is as famous as Chrome, the highest-earning thoroughbred in North American history who’s about to run in the world’s richest race, the $12 million Pegasus World Cup on Saturday in Florida.
